Our Commitment to Your Mental Health

At Berkshire Mental Health Collaborative, we help people move beyond the patterns shaped by trauma and compulsive behaviors—including substance use, gambling, overspending, food-related behaviors, rumination, reassurance-seeking and self-harm. We understand these behaviors are responses to pain, overwhelm, and unmet needs, not personal failings. Our work centers on helping you understand what’s driving these patterns and develop more effective, sustainable ways to cope.

We know that trauma and compulsive behaviors don’t just impact one person—they affect relationships, communication, and trust. That’s why we also specialize in couples and family therapy, helping partners and families navigate conflict, rebuild connection, and create healthier ways of relating.

Our clinicians blend clinical expertise, evidence-based treatment, and genuine compassion to create a personalized plan that reflects your strengths, values, and goals. We provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reduce harmful patterns, and move toward greater stability and meaning.

We offer in-person sessions in our welcoming Great Barrington, MA office and secure telehealth sessions for clients in MA, VT, CT, VA, GA, and FL.

Comprehensive Care Options

  • Experiencing uncomfortable emotions and personal challenges is a natural part of being human. At Berkshire Mental Health Collaborative, our goal is to help you address and reduce the symptoms of these struggles. We combine scientific evidence with our clinical expertise, along with your strengths and preferences, to create a treatment plan that helps you find meaning, connection, and satisfaction in your life.

  • The strength of your relationships directly impacts your mental and physical health. When difficulties arise, they can negatively affect your overall well-being. Couples therapy at Berkshire Mental Health Collaborative helps you and your partner address the behavioral patterns and relational dynamics contributing to these issues. Our goal is to identify underlying causes, build on your strengths, repair unresolved issues, and improve communication to enhance emotional connection and intimacy.

  • Family dynamics change over time, and so do the challenges, such as conflict, strained relationships, life transitions, grief, and mental health struggles. Family therapy at Berkshire Mental Health Collaborative helps families adjust to these evolving challenges. Our goal is to assist families in effectively addressing issues, improving communication, building empathy and resilience, and establishing healthy boundaries.

  • At Berkshire Mental Health Collaborative, we offer intensive therapy sessions for couples and families who want to break through challenges and create lasting change. Our focused, longer-format sessions provide the time and support needed to address patterns, heal past wounds, and strengthen connections. Whether you’re navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or seeking deeper closeness, our intensives create a safe space to restore balance and move forward together.
